Biographies:
Rev. Dr. David Ensign (Arlington)
Rev. Dr. David Ensign is a progressive Presbyterian minister who is currently serving as pastor at Clarendon Presbyterian in Arlington. He is a storyteller with a passion for justice, who was born in Alabama and grew up in Chattanooga, TN. Ministry is his second career after having worked as a writer and a policy analyst for the Council of State Governments. He earned his Masters in Religion at University of Chicago Divinity School and his Ph.D. in philosophy at DePaul University.
Rev. Dr. Robin Gorsline (Richmond)
Rev. Dr. Robin Gorsline is pastor at Metropolitan Community Church of Richmond. Before moving to Virginia, he was the Director of Administration at The Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He received his Ph.D. in systematic theology from Union Theological Seminary in New York and his Masters of Divinity from Episcopal Divinity School. Rev. Robin advances the work of equality in a variety of ways, including writing a blog on faith and social justice for Gay RVA.
Rev. Warren Hammonds (Richmond)
Rev. Warren Hammonds is the Program Manager of the Central Virginia Food Bank. He is an ordained Baptist Minister and the former Director of Student Life at Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond.
John Humphrey, Esq (Alexandria)
John Humphrey is the principal at The Humphrey Law Firm, a practice that specializes in community and multiparty dispute resolution, strategic advising, civil rights, environmental law, and international law. He was formerly an associate attorney at Shearman & Sterling. He earned his A.B. in public policy from Duke University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, and most recently a graduate certificate in conflict resolution from George Mason's Institute of Conflict Analysis and Resolution. John is also the Assistant Moderator for the United Church of Christ General Synod and a member of Hope UCC in Alexandria.
Senator Donald McEachin (Richmond)
Senator Donald McEachin is an attorney with the McEachin & Gee Law Firm, which he founded with Donald J. Gee. He was elected to the Virginia State Senate in 2007 to represent Charles City County and parts of Henrico County and the City of Richmond. He was first elected to public office in 1996, to the Virginia House of Delegates, where he served from 1996-2002 and 2006-08. He is a graduate of American University and the University Of Virginia School Of Law. In May 2008, Donald received a Master of Divinity from The Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. Donald is very active in the community, and is a lifetime member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, the NAACP, the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He lives in Henrico County and is a member of St. Peter Baptist Church.
Rev. Dr. A. Patrick L. Prest (Richmond)
Rev. Dr. A. Patrick L. Prest is a retired Episcopal Priest with the Diocese of Virginia. He continues to work for LGBT inclusion within the Episcopal Church, as a member of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church and The Episcopal Majority. He earned his Masters of Divinity at Episcopal Divinity School. He is Emeritus Professor of Patient Counseling, School of Allied Health Professions,Virginia Commomwealth University,a Supervisor in Clinical Pastoral Education, and Diplomate in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors
Owen Sharman
Owen Sharman, a Texas native and former Southern Baptist, is a manager with The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Owen is an active member of Ginter Park Presbyterian Church in Richmond where he serves on the worship committee and is vice president of the endowment committee.
Rev. Dr. Cathie Stivers (Richmond)
Rev. Dr. Cathie Stivers is the Chaplain at Children's Hospital of Richmond. She is a Unitarian Universalist Community Minister, ordained by the Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Glen Allen, where Cathie is also a member. She has a masters degree and PhD in health education. She earned her Masters of Divinity in 2004 at Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond.
Rev. Dr. H. Davis Yeuell (Richmond)
Rev. Dr. H. Davis Yeuell is a retired Minister of Word & Sacrament of the Presbyterian Church (USA). He has served as interim pastor at a number of churches in Virginia, including Trinity Church in Harrisonburg and Ginter Park Church in Richmond. Davis earned his D.Min in Church Systems from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. He also worked as an editor for John Knox Press and as Senior Editor for Religious Books for Harper & Row Publishers. Davis is a 2005 graduate of Richmond Hill's RUAH School of Spiritual Guidance and serves as a member of Richmond Hill’s adjunct staff in Spiritual Direction. In addition to his work with POFEV, he is involved with the Virginia Interfaith Center on Public Policy, Richmond Peace Education Center, and Richmonders Involved to Strengthen our Communities.

Program Director: Cameron Hunt
Cameron Hunt is a proud member of the Church of the Holy Comforter Episcopal in Richmond. He has worked for GLBT rights with college groups for many years at both James Madison in Harrisonburg, and VCU in Richmond. He is currently POFEV's liasion to the General Assembly. He plans to attend seminary next year with the goal of becoming a priest in the Episcopal Church.
