POFEV's Legislative Agenda 2011 General Assembly
POFEV is following legislation in five key areas.
1. Marriage Equality and Parenting Rights
POFEV will always have an eye to the eventual repeal of the State Marriage Amendment, and full parenting and second adoption rights to protect and uplift all families.

2. State legal Protection Against Discrimination
POFEV represents, through our supporters, faith traditions that believe in the humanity and dignity of all humankind. The State Human Rights Act should read, “It is the policy of the Commonwealth to: Safeguard all individuals in the Commonwealth from unlawful discrimination because of … sexual orientation, gender identity…”

- SB1122 “Health insurance benefits for state employees” Donald McEachin(RIC)
